본 연구의 목적은 한·미 FTA 하의 한·EU FTA의 일반경제 및 농업부문 파급영향을 파악하기 위함이다. 기존 연구와 달리 불완전경쟁을 가정하는 동태 CGE모형을 통하여 그 영향을 파악하고자 하였다. 특히 한국의 對EU 회원국별 농산물 수입액을 반영하여 6개 국가군으로 분류하여 분석을 시도하였다. 분석결과, 한국의 GDP와 무역수지는 개선되지만 EU의 무역수지는 악화되며, 한국 농업부문의 GDP와 무역수지가 크게 악화되는 것으로 나타났다. 한국농업의 GDP는 15년간 57억 달러, 무역수지는 916억 달러 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 분석모형에서 EU를 농업특성이 다른 6개 국가군으로 분류하여 농업부문의 국제경쟁력을 보다 구체적으로 반영한 것과 한·EU FTA를 국회비준을 앞두고 있는 한·미 FTA와 동시에 고려하였다는 점에서 그 의의를 찾을 수 있다.
Abstract
The Purpose of this study is to analyze the economic effects of Korea-EU FTA under the Korea-USA FTA using a dynamic multi-regional general equilibrium model. EU members were divided into six country groups according to international agricultural competitive power based on agricultural imports from EU to Korea in EU countries for this study. The main result shows that Korea-EU FTA increased the GDP and balance of trade in Korea but decreased the balance of trade in EU. On the other side, Korea-EU FTA greatly decreased the GDP and balance of trade in Korean Agriculture. The GDP in Korean agriculture was decreased by 5.7billion dollars through 15years and the Korean agricultural balance of trade was decreased by 91.6billion dollars through 15years. This study has made significant peculiarity on analyzing the FTA effects among Korea and six country groups in EU under the Korea-USA FTA.
