이상 시에 나타난 큐비즘의 특성과 현대 디자인의 상관성 -건축무한육면각체 중 <AU MAGASIN DE NOUVEATES>를 중심으로-

디자인의 시각에서 이사의 텍스트를 분석함으로써 그 안에서 시각표현의 다양성을 찾고 난해하다는 이유로 어렵고 복잡하게 느껴지는 시 텍스트를 새롭게 재인식함으로 인해 열린 텍스트로서 독자들의 상상력을 자극할 수 있다. 이러한 시도는 기존의 이상문학의 활발한 연구 속에서 창조적 상상력을 중요시 하는 디자인 분야에서도 이루어져야할 과제이다. 텍스트란 문자언어를 하나의 이미지로서의 기능을 하고 있는바 다양한 이미지 표현으로 수용자의 감성을 자극하는 현대디자인의 중요한 기능과 상관성이 크다. 이상 문학의 전반적인 이해를 통해 그만의 독자적인 글쓰기 양식을 이해하고 큐비즘의 이론적 고찰을 통해 특성을 파악하는 과정에서 이상의 시에서 상관성을 찾을 수 있었다. 현대 디자인에 지대한 영향을 미친 큐비즘적 사고의 전환을 찾을 수 있는 이상의 시 건축무한육면각체 중 ‘AU MAGASIN DE NOUVEATES'를 통해서 텍스트 속에 내재되어 있는 디자인적 사고를 유추하였다. 이러한 연구의 목적은 텍스트와 시각표현이 상호유기적인 관계 속에서 공존하며, 텍스트의 해석을 통해 텍스트가 내포하는 다양한 기호와 상징의 의미를 새롭게 도출함으로써 폭넓은 사고의 확장과 문학과 미술을 넘나드는 사고의 유연성을 갖고자 함이다.
Abstract
An analysis of Yi Snag’s texts from the perspective of design enables it to find the diversity of visual expression in the texts and have a new understanding of his abstruse poetic texts that look to be difficult and complex, which will in turn excite the imagination of readers. This attempt is a task to be accomplished in design filed emphasizing creative imagination. Texts function as the image of a written language and thus is closely associated with the critical function of the modern design that stimulates the emotion of recipients. I could find a corelation in Yi Sang’ poem during an attempt to understand his unique writing mode on the basis of an overall understanding of his literature and investigate the characteristics of his literature through a theoretical study on Cubis. I analogized the designical thoughts inherent in the texts on the basis of “AU MAGASIN DE NOUVEAUTES” in Yi Sang’s poem of “Architecture Infinite Cube” in which a shift of cubism that has greatly influenced the modern design. The purpose of this study is to identify the coexistence of texts and visual expression in an interdependent relationship and draw the meaning of a wide range of symbols and signs connoted in texts through an analysis of his texts in order to broaden my thoughts and have flexible thoughts crossing over between literature and art.
