「朝鮮筆記」底本の復元

일본 국립국회도서관에 “조선필기(朝鮮筆記)”라는 필사본이 소정되어 있다. 권미에 조선어우역하훈(朝鮮語右訳下訓)이란 독립된 항목이 있어 모두 291, 혹은 294개에 이르는 어휘와 글이 있어, 그 어휘와 글에 대한 한자음과 뜻을 일본어 가타카나로 표기한 필사본이다. “조선필기”는 현재로서는 다른 필사본의 존재는 알 수가 없으므로 이 자료로 조선어 가나표기를 분석할 수밖에 없으나 현존본의 글씨를 아무리 정확히 탈초하더라도 가나표기가 어떤 조선어에 해당되는지 알 수가 없을 경우가 많다. 현존본의 글씨에는 저본(底本)을 읽고 필사할 때 오독(誤讀)하거나 잘 못 필사한 부분이 있기에 해당되는 조선어를 찾아낼 수 없는 것이다. 이 필사본이 이용한 저본(底本)을 확인할 수가 없다. 따라서 현존 “조선필기”로 저본의 형태를 추측할 수밖에 없으므로 주로 가타카나 글씨 자형(字形)을 상세하게 비교 분석하여 오독(誤讀)이나 오사(誤寫)에 일정의 규칙성이 있는 것을 밝히고, 본 필사본이 의거한 저본의 본문을 복원하는데 유의해야 할 사항에 대해서 고찰했다.
Abstract
The National Diet Library of Japan owns a manuscript titled “Chousenhikki(朝鮮筆記)”. This manuscript has an separate item called Korean explanation at the end of the book which contains an amount to 291 or 294 vocabulary and text. The manuscript has the sound of Chinese Character and meaning about the vocabulary and text in Japanese Katakana. We have no choice but to analyze the Kana notation of Korean with this data because there is no way to tell the existence about other manuscript of “Chousenhikki(朝鮮筆記)” as of now. In many cases, it is hard to know which Kana notation of applies to which Korean however the accurate text of extant handwriting. It is hard to find out the corresponding Korean because there are many misread and mistranscription parts in the extant handwriting when reading and transcribing the original text. The existence of the original text which this manuscript used is unknown. We have to speculate the form of original text only by the extant “Chousenhikki(朝鮮筆記)”. Therefore, we will determine the certain rule in misread and mistranscription mainly by comparing and analyzing the type of Kana handwriting in detail. And also consider about the things that we need to be aware of when restoring the text of original text which this manuscript is based on.
