‘-었-’에 對하여－認知？生成的 文法範疇 設定에 대한 연구－

이 硏究는 認知的 觀點에서 ‘-었-’의 의의에 대해 고찰한 것이다. 失語症을 토대로 본다면, 言語單位를 運用하는 認知的 基底의 要素는 어휘적 의미를 관장하는 指示的 運用素와 文法 關係를 조직하여 語順이나 屈折을 결정하는 非指示的 運用素로 구분할 수 있다. ‘-었-’은 語彙的 意味와 直結되지 않는 비지시적 운용소이기 때문에 기존의 문법범주인 시제나 상에서 말하는 ‘過去’나 ‘完了’라는 의미론적 範疇로 완전히 정의되기 어렵다. 그러면서도 文脈에 따라서 과거나 완료의 지시적 의미나 그 외의 의미가 형성된다. 본고에서는 그렇게 될 수 있는 원리를 담아낼 수 있는 認知的 基底 層位의 文法範疇를 設定해야 함을 주장한다. 本考에서는 ‘-었-’에 대하여 외망이나 완망 등으로 인지적 층위의 논의를 검토하고 새로운 유형의 범주 설정을 모색하였다.
Abstract
A Study about Korean Morpheme ‘-eot-' －For Cognitive-Syntactic Categories－ Oh, Choong-yeun In this paper, the contention is that the grammatical categories for human language faculty must be dealt with more cognitive categories. It is cognitive-generational grammatical categories. For example, tense is not cognitional but just a category of notional division of time. Specially, the Korean morpheme ‘-eot-' is not only past nor perfective of aspects. ‘Perspective' divides an aspect to be connected with a view of a speaker. It bound the speaker's cognitional situation from the situation of an event. I divide two classes of grammatical operators. The one is a class of an indicative operators, the other one is the non-indicative operators. Indicative operators come out to lexical unit, and Non-indicative operators come out to grammatical morpheme what are infection or ending, or word order. Non-indicative operators have no practical, nor notional meanings. They are from more internal grammatic categories. Therefore, cognitive grammatical categories are necessary in the sentence-generative principle. It is not a traditional manner to set up a category, because it is not only from notional system but more perceptive-cognitive system in human mind.
