«Голубая речка...»(Образы природы в поздней лирике Георгия Иванова)

Abstract

The article deals with peculiarities of Georgij Ivanov’s poetics and namely with the role of landscape in his poetic meditations. The moments of contemplationin of nature become in G. Ivanov’s late verses the important part of his lyrical plot, its peculiar start that initiates existential reflection. This characteristic feature of G. Ivanov’s creative method is being demonstrated during analyses of some short poems written in trochee trimeter. The very form of the texts under review "demands" that they should be simultaneously considered as poems about nature and philosophical verses as well. It is due to the observed and distinctive presence of "semantic hallo" of trochee trimeter that goes back to Goethe-Lermontov’s tradition (to "Gornyie vershiny…"). The article demonstrates how laconic and the same time vivid figurativeness of G. Ivanov’s trochee trimeter, intertextual richness and his original interpretation of traditional forms put the depicted experiences of the individual into the global human context. And G. Ivanov’s images of nature submitted to existential meanings speak about mysterious vibrations of the soul torn between despair and hope.
