Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate whether psychological safety has a positive effect on creativity. In addition, the mediating effect of psychological empowerment, a psychological factor of members, was verified on the relationship between psychological safety and creativity. Furthermore, in order to verify the influence of psychological empowerment in the environment where the members who perceive they have a low sense of psychological safety, the moderating effect of perceived superior support in the relationship between psychological safety and psychological empowerment was verified. The key variable of this study, a leading factor that can improve creativity, was set as a feeling of psychological safety and its influence was verified. Specifically, it was attempted to find environmental factors that increase the creativity of members in psychological safety. This is because, in order to improve the creativity of members, it is necessary to consider both human and environmental variables because it occurs when various factors inside and outside people interact. In this study, to test the hypothesis, a questionnaire was conducted on 222 office workers in domestic companies, and based on this, the hypothesis was tested. As a result of the analysis, the hypotheses established in this study were all supported except for the control variables. The results of this study indicate that it is very important to create an environment where employees can feel a sense of psychological safety in order to improve their creativity in an organization.
