연구 목적: 어머니의 양육방식과 양육효능감이 유아의 불안에 미치는 영향력을 알아보고자 한다. 연구 방법: 육아정책연구소의 한국아동패널 7차년도 자료를 사용하였는데 연구대상은 유아와 유아의 어머니 각각 1,289명이다. 검사도구의 신뢰도는 Cronbach’s α값으로 확인하였다. 각 변인 간 관계성을 알아보기 위해 단계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구 내용: 어머니의 양육방식(온정적, 한계설정), 양육효능감(부모유능감, 부모불안감)이 유아의 불안에 미치는 영향력을 알아보았다. 결론 및 제언: 어머니의 양육불안감은 유아의 불안에 6.7%의 영향력을 미치고 있었다. 또한, 온정적 양육방식은 유아의 불안에 0.9%의 영향력을 미치고 있었다. 이러한 영향력 중 어머니의 양육불안감은 정적 효과를, 온정적 양육방식은 부적 효과를 보이고 있었다. 이를 통해, 어머니의 온정적 양육방식의 긍정적 제고와 부모불안감의 저감을 위한 노력이 유아의 긍정적 발달을 위해 필요함을 알 수 있었다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of parenting style and mothers’ parenting efficacy on child’s anxiety. The data of 1,289 child and mothers were extracted from the 7th Panel Study on Korean Children. The reliability of the test tool was confirmed by Cronbach’s value. The data were analyzed with methods of the stepwised regression analysis. The analysis results were as follows. Firstly, mothers’ parental anxiety impacted on child’s anxiety by 6.7%. Secondly, Mothers’ warm parenting style on child’s anxiety by 0.9%. Among these influences, mothers’ parental anxiety showed positive effects, and mothers’ warm parenting style had a negative effect. Through this, it was found that efforts to positively enhance the mothers’ warm parenting style and to reduce mothers’ parental anxiety are necessary for the positive child’s development.
