어머니의 우울과 유아의 사회적 유능성이 유아의 불안에 미치는 영향

연구 목적: 본 연구에서는 어머니의 우울과 유아의 사회적 유능성이 유아의 불안에 미치는 영향력을 알아보고자 하였다. 연구 방법: 육아정책연구소의 한국아동패널 7차년도 자료를 사용하여 진행되었다. 연구대상은 유아와 유아의 어머니 1,212쌍이며, 검사도구의 신뢰도를 확인하였다. 어머니의 우울, 유아의 사회적 유능성과 유아의 불안 간 관련성을 알아보기 위해 단계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구 내용: 어머니의 우울과 유아의 사회적 유능성(자기통제, 협력성, 책임성, 주장성)이 유아의 불안에 미치는 영향력을 알아보았다. 결론 및 제언: 유아의 사회적 유능성(주장성)이 유아의 불안에 7.3%의 영향력을 미치고 있었다. 또한, 어머니의 우울도 유아의 불안에 4.6%의 영향력을 미치고 있었다. 이러한 영향력 중 유아의 사회적 유능성(주장성)은 부적 효과를, 어머니의 우울은 정적 효과를 나타내고 있었다. 이를 통해, 유아의 사회적 유능성의 긍정적 발달과 어머니의 우울에 관한 감소방안이 필요함을 알 수 있었다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of mothers’ depression and child’s social competence (self control, cooperation, accountability, assertiveness) on child’s anxiety. The study was conducted using data from the 7th Panel Study on Korean Children by Korea Institude of the Child Care Education. The subjects of the study were 1,212 child and mothers respectively. The reliability of the test tool was confirmed. The data were analyzed by methods of the stepwised regression analysis. The analysis results were as follows. Firstly, Child’s social competence (assertiveness) impacted on child’s anxiety by 7.3%. Secondly, Mothers’ depression on child’s anxiety by 4.6%. Among these influences, child’s social competence (assertiveness) showed negative effects, and mothers’ depression had a positive effect. Through this, it was found that efforts to positively enhance the child’s social competence and to reduce mothers’ depression.
