본 연구의 목적은 국내외 통합체육 발전에 대한 문헌 고찰을 토대로 문제점을 제시하고, 학교 현장에서 통합체육을 운영하는 체육 교사 및 통합체육 전문가를 통해 이러한 문제점들을 세부적으로 조사 및 개선점을 연구하는 것이다. 우선 본 연구에서 분석된 국내 통합체육 정상화를 위한 대표적인 문제점으로는 통합체육 운영 및 프로그램 개발을 위한 전문성 결여, 교육 현장에서 체계적인 통합체육 운영을 위한 지원 결여, 그리고 통합체육의 실천 의지 결여로 분석되었으며, 이에 대한 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 통합체육 전문성 향상을 위해 실제 체육수업에서 적용할 수 있는 다양한 사례 연구와 실습 기회를 제공함으로써 이론과 실제의 연결고리를 강화하는 방안이 필요하며, 추후 미국의 APENS와 CAPE와 같은 양성 체제를 통한 전문성 향상이 필요하다. 둘째, 통합체육 관련 법적, 행정적 지원 강화를 위해 미국의 제도(전장애아교육법에서 체육교과를 장애 학생들에게 반드시 제공되어야 하는 교과목으로 제시)와 같이 학교 현장에서의 실질적인 실행에 있어 법적 지원과 정책이 제대로 반영될 수 있도록 통합체육에 대한 구체적인 지침과 지원이 강화되어야 한다. 셋째, 통합체육의 실천 의지 제고를 위한 시스템 마련이 필요하다. 현재와 같이 특수교육과 일반교육이 분리된 교육 현장에서 실천 의지를 높이기 위해서는 장애 학생의 능력에 따라 특수체육 교사, 물리치료사, 작업치료사, 언어치료사, 보조지도자 등의 다양한 전문 인력이 지원되어야 한다. 또한 통합체육 전문가 양성을 통해 체육 교사의 전문성 향상에 지속적인 노력이 필요하다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to present problems based on a literature review of the development of inclusive physical education(PE) at home and abroad, and to investigate these problems in detail and study areas for improvement through physical education teachers and experts. The representative problems for normalizing domestic inclusive PE analyzed in this study were lack of expertise forinclusive PE operation and program development, lack of support for normal inclusive PE operation in the education charter, and lack of will to implement inclusive PE. The conclusion on this is as follows. First, in order to improve inclusive PE expertise, a plan is needed to strengthen the link between theory and practice by providing various case studies and practice opportunities that can be applied in actual physical education classes. In the future, training systems such as APENS and CAPE in the United States are needed to improve professionalism. Second, in order to strengthen legal and administrative support related to integrated sports, proper legal support and policies are needed for actual implementation in schools, such as the American system. Specific guidelines and support for inclusive PE should be strengthened so that this can be reflected. hird, it is necessary to establish a system to increase the will to practice inclusive PE. In order to increase the will to practice in the current educational field where special education and general education are separated, various professional personnel such as special education teachers, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and assistant instructors must be supported according to the abilities. In addition, continuous efforts are needed to improve the expertise of physical education teachers through training of inclusive PE experts.
