통합체육에 대한 체육교사의 태도: 문헌 연구

초록

본 연구에서는 통합환경에서 성공적인 체육수업을 위한 일반체육교사와 예비 체육교사의 태도분석 및 태도 향상 방안을 목적으로 미국과 한국의 연구논문들을 중심으로 자료를 수집하여 분석 하였다. 본 조사를 위해 국내논문은 한국학술지정보(KISS)와 학술연구정보서비스(RISS)를 이용하였고 미국논문은 EBSCOhost 와 SAGE Journals Online을 이용하여 검색하였다. 주제어 및 결과내 재검색을 통하여 1차 자료를 선별한 후 5인의 전문가들이 전문 리뷰 및 전문가 회의를 통해 최종적으로 국내논문 13편(체육교사대상: 7편, 예비체육교사대상: 6편)과 국외논문 12편(체육교사대상: 7편, 예비체육교사대상: 5편)이 선정 되었다. 이와 같이 체계적인 문헌고찰을 통해 수집된 자료를 바탕으로 논문분석결과 통합체육환경에서 태도향상에 우선적으로 고려해야 할 항목은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 일반 체육교사의 태도 향상을 위해 우선적으로 고려해야 할 사항으로는 체육교사의 전문성 향상으로 조사 되었다. 또한 체계적으로 전문성을 증대시키는 가장 효과적인 방법으로는 이론과 실기가 조화된 효율적인 연수의 실시와 전문가와의 협력교수 방법으로 조사 되었다. 둘째, 예비체육교사의 통합체육에 대한 태도는 대체적으로 긍정적 이었으나 통합체육의 운영 면에서는 부정적인 태도가 나타난다고 조사 되었다. 이러한 원인으로는 통합체육 관련 교과목 수강 후에도 전문성이 부족하다고 느끼고 있으며, 대체적으로 장애인체육지도 경험이 낮게 나타남으로 인하여 지도경험과 밀접한 관련이 있다고 사료된다. 따라서 예비체육교사들을 대상으로 통합체육관련교과목 교육시 임의적인 실습기회의 증대와 장애인체험 학습 등을 통하여 장애에 대한 이해력을 높이고 직접적인 지도기회를 늘려 보다 효과적인 교과프로그램을 구성하여야 한다.

Abstract

The purposes of the study were to perform systematic literature of studies examining attitude of practicing and prospective physical education (PE) teachers toward inclusive PE environment in Korean and the United States and to make recommendation for Korea inclusive education. Databases (KISS and RISS) were used to identify the literature in Korea and EBSCOhost and SAGE Journals Online were used to identify English literature. The research articles were retrieved using keyword search and reviewed by 5 professionals in adapted/general PE. Thirteen Korean studies (practicing PE teacher: 7, prospective PE teacher: 6) and twelve English studies (practicing PE teacher: 7, prospectice PE teacher: 5) were finally selected for the data extraction after the professional review. The results were as follows. First, the strategy to improve attitude among physical educators was to enhance professionalism on the inclusive education. An inservice incorperating theory and practice plays a key role in the development of professionalism. Second, prospective PE teachers in general had positive attitude toward the inclusive PE and negative attitude toward the administration. The major reason was that prospective PE teachers lacked professionalism and field experience. As much field experience as strongly recommended to improve a understanding of disabilities and teaching skills related to inclusive PE.
