This paper is to introduce the process of developing an end user fitted Korean textbook for Korean Heritage learners in France. The demand for Korean textbook for heritage learners living abroad has been increasing, it is desirable to give support to researchers developing the textbook for Korean Heritage learners. Since 2010, the studies on developing Korean textbook for Korean Heritage learners in some nations have been carried out on purpose of distributing outcomes. The paper was to investigate the present state of 'Hangulhakkyo' in France and to analyze needs of learners and teachers for developing a Korean textbook, eventually to develop 1-6 Korean textbooks for Korean Heritage learners in France.
