‘결과’의 내면화와 의미 층위의 관계 연구: 접속 부사 ‘그래서, 그러므로, 따라서’와 ‘-ㄴ 것이다’ 구문을 중심으로
A Study of the Relation between Assimilation of Result and Semantic Hierarchy: Focusing on Conjunctive Adverb Constructions with Kulayse, Kulemulo, Ttalase and -n kesita

This study examines the relation between the epistemological characteristics of conjunctive adverbs of result, i.e., kulayse, kulemulo, and ttalase, and the semantic hierarchy of sentences and verifies how these characteristics work with the -n kesita construction. The result expressions show a difference of how much the event or situation of the result is assimilated to the speaker. When a sentence with a result adverb appears with the -n kesita construction, the result is interpreted as more assimilated. Also, the same sentence can be interpreted differently depending on whether the semantic hierarchy is an event or a proposition. In the case of -n kesita construction, the interpretation is sometimes limited to a proposition in the hierarchy.
