Abstract
We looked at Korean textbooks used for representative French-speaking learners and were able to point out what needed to be improved in explaining Korean using French grammar terms. Typically, "은/는" should no longer be treated as a subject investigation but as a "particule de thème," and "will" should be defined as a quantitative morpheme that delivers "estimation" and "will" rather than a future time representation. It is judged that it is more appropriate to define "았었/었었" as a "great past" familiar to French learners than to use the term "dual past." It is suggested that adjectives in Korean have more grammatical properties that are closer to verbs than adjectives in French,, so they should be separated from 'mutual verbs' and defined as 'quality verbs'. Also, I would like to propose a new term called term "adjectival termination" for tubular mothers of Korean idioms. There are three kinds of language used in modern Korean discourse, and foreigners learning Korean also need to learn these three languages first, the most basic '해' is 'style poly formal', '합니다/하십시오' is 'style poly formal', and 'fleilier' is 'freedom' and 'form'.
