청년층의 진로결정자기효능감 유형에 따른 진로성숙도, 진로탐색행동 및 진로의사결정 수준 차이분석

초록

이 연구는 청년층의 진로결정자기효능감 인식수준을 바탕으로 집단을 유형화하고, 유형별 진로준비도(진로성숙도, 진로탐색행동 및 진로의사결정) 수준 차이를 분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 2022년 11월을 기준으로, 구직활동을 하고 있는 만 18세-34세 이하의 청년층 중 300명의 응답 데이터를 수집하였다. 분석방법과 관련하여 청년층의 진로결정자기효능감 인식수준에 따른 세부 유형을 도출하기 위해 잠재프로파일분석을, 진로결정자기효능감 인식 유형별 진로준비도 수준 차이를 확인하기 위해 분산분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 국내 청년층 진로결정자기효능감 수준에 따라 총 5개(적극적, 긍정적, 일반적, 소극적, 부정적)의 유형으로 구분된다. 둘째, 진로결정자기효능감 수준이 높은 청년층일수록 진로성숙도, 진로탐색행동 및 진로의사결정 수준이 높다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 도출된 현업적 시사점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 청년층의 진로결정자기효능감 수준을 고려한 맞춤형 진로준비도 강화 교육프로그램을 개발 및 운영해야 한다. 둘째, 청년층과 더불어 진로결정자기효능감 및 진로준비도의 중요성이 강조되는 집단을 추가로 발굴해야 한다. 학문적 시사점과 관련하여 첫째, 다른 유형 대비 적은 수의 표본이 도출된 유형의 타당성을 확보할 수 있는 방안을 모색해야 한다. 둘째, 진로결정자기효능감 유형에 따른 영향요인을 다차원적으로 분석하는 연구가 필요하다.

Abstract

The aims of this study are to categorize groups based on the level of awareness of youth's career decision-making self-efficacy, and to analyze differences in the level of career preparation (career maturity, career exploration behavior, and career decision-making) by types. To this end, response data of 300 youth under the age of 18-34 who have been looking for jobs were collected as of November 2022. Regarding the analysis method, potential profile analysis was conducted to derive detailed types according to the level of career decision-making self-efficacy, and variance analysis was conducted to confirm differences in career preparation. The results of the study are as follows. First, it is divided into five types (active, positive, general, passive, and negative) according to the level of career decision-making self-efficacy among youth. Second, the higher the level of career decision-making self-efficacy, the higher the level of career maturity, career exploration behavior, and career decision-making. The implications of the fieldwork derived based on the results of this study are as follows. First, a customized career preparation reinforcement education program should be developed and operated in consideration of the level of career decision-making self-efficacy of youth in career decisions. Second, it is necessary to discover additional groups that emphasize the importance of career decision-making self-efficacy and career preparation along with youth. Regarding academic implications, first, it is necessary to find a way to secure the validity of the type from which fewer samples are derived compared to other types. Second, it is required to analyze influencing factors according to the type of career decision-making self-efficacy in multiple dimensions.
