본 연구는 교육학·커뮤니케이션·콘텐츠 개발 분야 전문가 10인을 대상으로 한 심층 인터뷰를 기반으로 AI 하이브리드 교육이 다문화 및 일반 학생의 상호문화 감수성 함양에 제공하는 교육적 가치를 탐색하고, 실제 개발된 플랫폼 ‘멜츠(MELTZ)’의 적용 가능성과 실효성을 실증 분석하였다. ‘멜츠’는 역할극, 보드게임, 퀘스트 기반 활동 등으로 구성되어 다문화 사회의 상호 이해를 촉진하도록 설계되었으며, 전문가 인터뷰 결과 플랫폼의 AI 기반 학습이 높은 몰입감을 유도하고, 사회정서학습(SEL), 디지털 리터러시, 문화 간 공감 능력 향상에 기여함을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 기술융합 교육의 실천적 시사점을 제시하며, 향후 제도화 및 정책 도입 논의에 기여할 것이다.
Abstract
Utilizing in-depth, semi-structured interviews with ten experts in education, communication, and content development, this studyinvestigates the pedagogical value of AI-enabled hybrid instruction in enhancing intercultural sensitivity among both multiculturaland non-multicultural students. It also empirically evaluates the applicability and effectiveness of the MELTZ platform a learningenvironment composed of role-play simulations, board-game modules, and quest-based activities designed to foster mutual understanding in multicultural contexts. Findings reveal that MELTZ’s AI-driven framework substantially increases learner engagementand contributes to gains in social-emotional learning (SEL), digital literacy, and intercultural empathy. The study concludes by outlining practical implications for technology-integrated pedagogy and by offering recommendations for the future institutionalizationand policy adoption of the MELTZ platform.
