본 연구는 AI 활용 프로젝트 기반 학습을 적용한 교양수업에 참여한 대학생들의 AI 리 터러시, AI 윤리의식, 협업 능력 변화를 분석하여 그 교육적 의의와 가능성을 탐색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 지방 C대학의 디지털 소통 교과목을 대상으로 수강 전후 설문조사와 심층면담을 병행하였다. 분석 결과, 학생들은 프로젝트 수행 과정에서 창의적 아이디어 도 출, 정보 탐색과 정리, 결과물 제작 등 다양한 단계에서 AI를 적극적으로 활용하였으며, 이 경험은 전반적인 AI 리터러시 향상으로 이어졌다. 심층면담에서는 협업 과정에서의 상호 AI 사용 태도 의견 조율 능력 등이 강화되었음이 확인되었다 또한 보안, 존중, 책임 있는 저작권 공정성 인식 등 AI 윤리의식 측면에서도 긍정적 변화가 나타나 학생들이 AI 활용의 사회적⋅윤리적 책임에 대해 보다 성찰적으로 사고하게 되었음을 시사한다. 이러한 결과는 AI 기반 프로젝트 학습이 학습자의 AI 리터러시와 협업 역량을 증진하는 동시에 윤리 의식 함양에도 기여할 수 있는 효과적인 교수 모형으로서 활용될 가능성을 보여준다.
Abstract
This study examined the educational potential of AI-integrated project-based learning by analyzing changes in university students’ AI literacy, AI ethics awareness, and collaborative skills. Pre- and post-surveys and in-depth interviews were conducted with students enrolled in a Digital Communication course at a regional university. The results indicate that students effectively employed AI for idea generation, information retrieval and organization, and project outcome development, leading to measurable gains in AI literacy. Interview data further reveal enhanced mutual respect, responsible attitudes toward AI use, and increased awareness of security, copyright, and fairness. These findings suggest that AI-based project learning functions as an instructional model that supports both competence development and the cultivation of ethical awareness in AI use.
