본 연구는 글쓰기 맥락에서 생성형 AI에 대한 대학생 필자의 수용 인식을 탐색하고, 이를 설명할 수 있는 이론적 모형을 도출 및 검증하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 인공지능 기기 수용 모형(AIDUA)을 토대로 ‘인지–수용–도입’의 3단계 구조를 설정하고, 각 단계에 해당하는 인식 요인을 도출하여 전체 수용 인식 구조를 구성하였다. 생성형 AI를 활용한 글쓰기 경험이 있는 대학생 75명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하고, 탐색적 요인 분석을 통해 수용 인식 구조를 도출하였다. 분석 결과, 학습자의 수용 인식은 ‘탐색적 동기’, ‘인지된 인간성’, ‘사회적 영향력’, ‘실용성 기대’, ‘평가적 태도’의 다섯 가지 요인으로 구성되며, 이들은 ‘인지–수용–도입’의 단계적 경로를 따라 유의미한 상관관계를 형성함이 확인되었다. 반면 ‘도입 저항’은 이들과 무관하게 독립적인 인식 경로를 형성하는 별개의 요인으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 생성형 AI 수용이 글쓰기 전반에 대한 총체적 판단과 가치관에 기반하여 이루어짐을 보여준다. 또한 글쓰기 교육에서 생성형 AI를 기술 활용 차원에 국한하지 않고, 인지적‧정의적‧사회문화적 요인을 포괄하여 접근해야 하며, 수용 촉진과 저항 완화 전략을 함께 고려해야 함을 시사한다.
Abstract
This study investigates university students’ perceptions of generative AI acceptance in writing and proposes a theoretical model to explain these perceptions. Based on the AIDUA (Artificial Intelligence Device Use Acceptance) framework, a three-stage process—Cognition, Acceptance, and Adoption—was constructed, with corresponding factors identified. A survey of 75 students experienced in AI-assisted writing was conducted, and exploratory factor analysis revealed five core components: Exploratory Motivation, Perceived Human-likeness, Social Influence, Expected Usefulness, and Evaluative Attitude. These factors followed a meaningful path across the three stages, while Adoption Resistance emerged as an independent factor. The results suggest that AI acceptance in writing reflects students’ holistic judgments shaped by cognitive, emotional, and sociocultural dimensions. The study underscores the need for a pedagogical approach that accounts for both the drivers and barriers to AI use in writing education.
