한국어와 스페인어 가축 속담의 의미 자질 비교 연구

속담은 근본적으로 언어공동체의 문화와 밀접하게 연관되어 있다. 오랜 세월 동안 인간은 동물과의 친밀한 접촉을 통해 그들의 습성과 본성에 대한 지식을 축적했고, 이것을 속담을 통해 세대를 이어 전수해왔다. 그러므로 한국어와 스페인어에는 핵심어가 가축명인 속담도 다수 존재할 수밖에 없는 것이다. 속담은 단순한 수사학적 도구가 아니라 한 언어공동체의 사고방식과 가치관의 표출이기 때문에 한국어와 스페인어 속담 사이에는 공통점과 차이점이 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 한국어와 스페인어 가축 속담의 의미 자질과 상징적 의미를 비교, 분석하여 양국 언어의 속담에 존재하는 문화적 차별성을 인지하는 것이다. 이로써 본 연구는 언어 코드에 미치는 문화 코드의 영향에 대해 강조하는 계기를 제공하고자 한다.
Abstract
Proverbs are deeply related to the culture of the linguistic community as an intrinsic attribute. Humans have accumulated the knowledge of animals’ habits and natures through the intimate contacts with them and handed down the knowledge via proverbs. For the reason, there exist many proverbs that the key word is a name of domestic animals both in Korean and Spanish. Since proverbs are not just a rhetorical device but a mode of thoughts and an expression of values, there are similarities and differences between Korean and Spanish proverbs. The purpose of this paper is to compare and analyze the semantic features and the symbolic meanings between Korean and Spanish proverbs about the domestic animals. In doing so, it will allow us to recognize the cultural discrepancies between the proverbs of the languages. Furthermore, this study attempt to emphasize the fact that the cultural codes have an great impact on the linguistic codes.
