초록

본 연구의 목적은 허윤석(2003)이 개발한 초등학생 정서·행동발달 선별검사(CPSQ)를 통해 초등학생 정서·행동문제 특성을 알아보는데 있다. 본 연구에 참여한 대상자는 총 681명(남아 364명, 여아317명)이며, 이들을 대상으로 교사 평정에 의해 CPSQ를 실시하여, 절단선을 초과한 학생은 임상군, 초과하지 않은 학생은 일반군으로 선정하였다. 일반군으로 선정된 학생은 총 602명이고 임상군으로 선정된 학생은 총 79명이었다. 본 연구의 구체적인 연구문제는 첫째, 일반군과 임상군이 CPSQ의 하위척도에 반응한 특성을 알아보고, 둘째, 임상군이 반응한 CPSQ의 하위척도간 공존현황을 알아보는데 있다. 본 연구의 자료분석은 CPSQ의 26개 문항에 반응한 대상자 수를 백분율로 산출하여 비교하는 방법과 평균을 산출하여 비교하는 방법을 사용하였으며, 그 두 방법에 근거하여 Spearman의 순위상관을 조사하였으며, 각 문항은 Chi-Square Test하였다. 연구결과에 따른 결론은 첫째, 일반군 남아와 임상군 남아는 외현화 문제 경향을 보였다. 그리고 일반군 및 임상군 여아는 일반군 및 임상군 남아에 비해 내재화 문제 경향은 보였지만, 임상군 여아 경우 정서·행동적 문제는 외현화 문제와 내재화 문제가 함께 나타나는 경향을 보였다. 둘째, 정서·행동문제의 유형간 공존에 의한 발생이 단일 유형에 의한 발생 빈도 보다 높았다. 이와 같은 연구결과 및 결론을 중심으로 초등학생의 정서·행동문제 특성을 선행문헌에 근거하여 논의하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to find out the characteristics of Emotional and Behavioral problems with elementary school students while conducting Child Problem-Behavior Screening Questionnaire(CPSQ) developed by Huh Yun-seok(2003). The subjects of this study were total 681 elementary schoolers(364 boys, 317 girls), and the CPSQ toward them was conducted according to the teacher's rating. The students exceeding the cut-off line of CPSQ and the other students not exceeding the same line were selected as the clinical group and the regular group, respectively. Specific research questions of this study are as follows: first, this study was to find what characteristics of the regular group and the clinical group react to subscales of CPSQ, second, this study was to investigate the current situations of comorbidity among CPSQ subscales of the clinical group selected by CPSQ. From the analyzed results, this study concluded as follows. First, the boys in regular group and clinical group tended to show the externalization problem, and the girls in the regular and clinical groups tended to show the internalization problem. Second, regarding the occurrence of the emotional․behavioral problems, the occurrence by comorbidity among types of the emotional․behavioral problems turned out to be more frequent than the other occurrence by a single type. Based on the above-mentioned research results as well as findings of other previous researches, the study discussed the emotional․behavioral problem characteristics of elementary school students.
