본 연구는 힌디어 학습자들이 시제와 상에 대한 오류를 최소화할 수 있도록 효과적인 교육 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위해 이 글에서는 일치 현상을 중심으로 힌디어의 시제와 상에 대한 주요 문법적 특성을 설명하며, 힌디어 학습자들이 범하는 주요 오류 유형을 분석하고, 그 결과에 따라 힌디어의 시제와 상 교수에 적용할 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 연구 대상 및 자료는 한국외국어대학교 인도어과에서 2022년 1학기에 비대면 강좌로 개설한 ‘초급힌디어문법(1)’을 수강하는 45명의 학생들이 한 학기 동안 e-class (LMS/TMS)를 통해 매주 주차별로 치른 힌디어쪽지 시험 자료에서 추출하였다. 학습자들이 범하는 오류에 대한 원인은 복잡한 힌디어의 규칙 및 일치 현상에 의한 것이지만, 기본적으로 낯선 언어에 대한 이해 부족, 학습 시간 및 노력 부족, 문법 용어 및 개념 부족, 비대면수업의 한계 그리고 교수자의 과도한 학습 분량 등도 그 원인으로 보인다. 따라서 축적된 오류 유형을 데이터화하여 수업에 적극 활용하고, 학생별 또는 수준별 오류 유형에 따른 맞춤형 과제를 부여하고, 무엇보다도 시제와 상을도식화하여 복잡한 규칙 및 일치 현상을 일목요연하게 파악하도록 수업을 설계하는 과정이 필요하다.
Abstract
This study aims to suggest an effective education method for Korean learners of Hindi to minimize errors in tense and aspect. To this end, this paper explains the main grammatical features of tense and aspect in Hindi, focusing on agreement in this language and analyzes the major error types that Korean learners of Hindi make, and finally suggests the teaching method for tense and aspect in Hindi based on the findings. The subjects and data of the study were extracted from the quiz that 45 students of on-line ‘Elementary Hindi Grammar(1)’ class in the first semester of 2022 at the Department of Hindi at HUFS took during the semester through e-class (LMS/TMS). The errors made by learners are basically due to the lack of understanding of the language, lack of learning time and effort, lack of the knowledge on grammatical terms and concepts, limitations of on-line class, and excessive amounts of learning materials as well as the complex rules and agreement features in Hindi. Therefore, it is necessary to make data sets of error types and apply them to the classes and assign customized tasks to each student according to the error types they made. Moreover, designing the class materials is also needed which can make the students to clearly understand the complex rules and agreement by schematizing tense and aspect.
