김수영, 2025, 방언사전으로의 활용을 위한 국립국어원 <지역어 종합 정보> 보완방안, 어문연구, 207 : 43~74 <지역어 종합 정보>는 국립국어원에서 진행한 지역어 조사 사업의 결과물을 일반인 및 연구자에게 제공하는 시스템으로, 온라인방언 자료집의 기능을 한다. 이 글은 <지역어 종합 정보> 시스템을 온라인 방언사전으로 활용하기 위한 방안을 모색하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 전국을 대상으로 한 방언사전이 드물다는 점과 <지역어 종합 정보>의 체계가 방언사전으로 활용되기에 적절하다는 점에 기반하여, <지역어 종합 정보>의 자료를 방언사전으로 활용하기 위해 자료의 내용 및 형식이 어떻게 보완되어야 하는지를 살펴보았다. 구체적으로는 시스템에 구축된 방언 자료의 정보를 사전의 미시구조에 따라 살펴보고 그 보완 방안을 논의하였다. 방언형의 표기 및 발음 정보, 뜻풀이, 용례로 나누어 다루었으며, 이를 기존에 출간된 대표적인 방언사전인 『韓國方言資料集』, 『두만강유역의 조선어 방언 사전』, 『강릉방언자료사전』과 비교하면서 살펴보았다. 이를 바탕으로 발음 정보 표기의 보완, 방언을 기준으로 한 뜻풀이, 적절한 예문 선별등의 방안을 제안하였다.
Abstract
This study examines how the Comprehensive Regional Language Information of the National Institute of Korean Language can be utilized as a dialect dictionary. For this purpose, it analyzes the information structure of the system's dialectal data in relation to the microstructure of a dictionary, and discusses possible improvements. In particular, it addresses the orthography and pronunciation of dialectal forms, definitions and usage examples, while referencing previously published works such as A Collection of Korean Dialect Data, A Dictionary of Korean Dialects in the Tumen River Area, and A Dictionary of Gangneung Dialect Materials. Based on this analysis, this study proposes enhancements of the system, including more precise notation of pronunciation, definitions grounded in dialectal features, and the selection of appropriate example sentences.
