Abstract

This study examines the link between party identification and immigrationattitudes among Koreans. Many research has examined the link with mixedresults. Furthermore, few study has been conducted focusing on the case ofKoreans. Utilizing the survey data-set, this study finds that the effect ofparty identification on immigration attitudes is not significant. Thecomparison with the case of the U.S. might imply the importance of thecontextual factors in explaining the relationship between party identificationand immigration attitudes.
