The current research adopts a corpus-based arpproach to uncovering major trends in the domestic interpretion and translation (T&I) research of the 2010s. The corpus analyzed consists of 1,299 abstracts collected from four major domestic academic journals. The corpus was divided, first, into three periods and, second, into two halves, and keywords were extracted from the subcorpora to identify most prominent research trends for each period. The analysis showed that the early 2010s (2010~2012) was marked by strong interest in theories, culture, feminism and quality assessment. The mid-2010s (2013~2015) saw a surge of empirical studies in interpreting and corpus-based research in translation, along with marked attention given to training and education. The late 2010s (2016~2019) was characterized by a proliferation of research related to machine translation, which centered around comparing human and machine translation at various levels and exploring post-editing as a way of compensating for observed weaknesses of machine translation. This period also witnessed the scope of T&I research widening to include specialized interpretation and translation services and a focus of attention on multimodal texts. The two-period analysis largely duplicated the findings from the three-period investigation.
