도덕적 개념을 제대로 이해하지 못하면서 세상을 도덕적으로 바라보거나 도덕적인 문제를 이해하고 해결하기는 어렵다. 따라서 도덕교육에서 도덕적 개념교육은 매우 중요하다. 특히 도덕적인 개념이 다른 영역의 개념에 비해 실천성을 확보해야 한다는 점에서 아이들의 주체적이고 다차원적인 이해는 필수적이다. 하지만 현재 교과서를 중심으로 교실에서 이루어지고 있는 개념교육은 한정적이며 그로부터 얻는 개념은 형식적이다. 개선이 필요하다. 그런데 최근의 인식론이 주목하는 합당성 개념과 로티의 메타포 개념 그리고 다양한 범주론은 개념탐구의 개선에 방향을 제공한다. 아이들이 개념탐구에 주체적으로 관여하면서 다차원적인 이해를 도모할 수 있도록 도덕적 개념의 구조와 탐구가 확장되어야 한다는 것이다. 이런 점에서 의미지도만들기, 포토스탠딩토론, 가치수직선토론은 유의미한 대안이 될 수 있다. 다양한 활동으로 흥미를 이끌고 아이들의 구체적인 경험과 인식이 탐구의 과정에 활발하게 개입되면서 주체적이고 유연하며 포괄적인 개념탐구를 이끈다.
Abstract
If we don't understand moral concept well, it is very difficult that we look at a world in moral perspective , and that we understand moral problems and solve them. So the education for moral concept is very important in moral education. Especially children should understand moral concept in subjective and multi-perspective, because moral concept is practical. But recent our education for moral concept is too narrow, so children get just formal concept. Some changes are needed. The concept of Reasonableness and Metaphor, and the theory of categorization show us some clue for those changes. They tell us that the structure of moral concept and inquiry into it have to be extended in order that children can involve inquiry in subjective and understand moral concept in multi-perspective. On this respects, making meaning-map, photo-standing discussion and value- continuum discussion are meaningful alternative. They lead children's interests providing with diverse activity and also lead subjective and comprehensive understanding
