이 논문은 ‘도덕과 교육‘의 개념을 시안(試案)의 형식으로 제안하려는 목적을 지니고 있다. ‘도덕과 교육’의 개념 제안을 위해 ‘도덕’, ‘교육’, ‘도덕교육’, ‘교과’라는 관련 개념들을 가지고 문헌을 통해 개념 수집, 개념의 핵심 내용 파악, 파악된 내용의 종합이라는 과정을 거쳤다. 풀어 말하면, ‘도덕’개념과 ‘교육’개념이 포함하고 있는 내용의 교집합에서 ‘도덕교육’의 개념을 찾으려 하고 ‘도덕교육’과 ‘교과’의 교집합에서 ‘도덕과 교육’의 개념을 찾으려 하였다. 결국 이러한 과정을 모두 마치면 다음과 같은 도덕과 교육의 개념이 나타난다. “도덕과 교육은 도덕과 관련된 경험을 체계적으로 조직한 학교교육의 한 분과를 통해 교육 대상자가 삶의 규범적 양식을 잘 영위하여 올바르게 살도록 돕는 일이다.”
Abstract
To get the concept of Moral Subject Eduction, I use Concept Analysis method in this study. My method has this procedure: first, I analyze the related concepts such as 'moral', 'education', 'moral education', and 'subject'; I collect those concepts from academic resources like books, articles, and encyclopedia. Second, I analyze those concepts and extract core content from them respectively. Third, I synthesize those contents into one concept and suggest the concept of the moral subject education. "Moral Subject Education is to help student establish and practice their normative life style through the systematic approaches as 'Moral Subject' in schools.
