윤리적 민감성에 관한 연구: 대학생을 중심으로

초록

윤리적 민감성은 윤리적 의사결정과정에서 중요한 위치를 차지하고 있음에도 불구하고 행정학이나 행정윤리 분야에서 최근까지 관심의 대상이 되지 못했다. 이러한 맥락에서 본 연구의 목적은 대학생들을 대상으로 윤리적 민감성의 정도를 성별, 전공별, 장래 희망 직업분야별, 윤리강의 수강여부별로 나누어서 분석하였다. 주요 결과를 살펴보면, 첫째 성사회화이론과는 달리 윤리적 민감성은 성별에 따른 차이가 일관성 있게 나타나지 않았다. 둘째, 전공별 윤리적 민감성 분석은 행정학 전공자들이 비행정학 전공자들보다 윤리적으로 더 민감한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 장래에 공직을 희망하는 학생들이 그렇지 않은 학생들보다 윤리적으로 더 민감한 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 윤리강의 수강 여부별로는 윤리적 민감성 차이가 없는 것으로 분석되었다.

Abstract

Despite ethical sensitivity occupies an important part in the process of ethical decision making, it hasn't been an object of research interest. In this context, the purpose of this study is to inquire the extent of ethical sensitivity according to gender, major, future job, and taking ethics course or not for university students. Main results are as follows. First, unlikely gender socialization theories, the difference of ethical sensitivity in gender didn't show consistent result. Second, students majoring public administration were more ethically sensitive than those not majoring public administration. Third, students who would like to work in the public sector were more ethically sensitive than those who would like to work in the private sector. Fourth, there was no difference in ethical sensitivity according to taking ethics course or not.
