Abstract
Cultural consumption patterns have been diversified due to paradigm shifts in modern society following rapid economic growth. Accordingly, as various types of cultural spaces that can embrace all generations are required, the use of idle industrial facilities, a space that has lost its social value, has increased. Existing cultural and artistic spaces are mainly composed of functional parts, so there is a limit to accommodating the various demands of consumers according to social changes, so interest in the utility of idle industrial facilities is increasing. It is economically, socially and culturally meaningful to create new added value by examining the effectiveness of existing neglected facilities, rather than supplying development-oriented cultural facilities due to population decline. However, many idle industrial facilities cultural regeneration spaces cannot be differentiated from existing facilities due to lack of program diversity and content update according to generational changes, and they cannot be operated continuously. Therefore, it is necessary to re-establish a plan for continuous revitalization of space by properly harmonizing the specificity and operation of the facility. To this end, cultural contents are an important factor to consider in order to be regenerated as a differentiated cultural space away from the existing uniform cultural reproduction. Therefore, in this paper, the applicability of new tech art contents, the next-generation contents, was confirmed, and it is intended to be applied to the plan of the Sangmu incineration complex cultural facility. This is a complex cultural facility where you can experience future infrastructure using advanced technology and present various exhibitions that combine technology and art. These exhibitions can be flexibly configured according to the changing times and consumer trends in cultural consumption in the future, and synergy is expected as a venue for harmony and cooperation between various fields through the convergence of technology and art. Therefore, in this paper, as a visible example of the use of idle industrial facilities, we would like to propose a complex cultural space using new tech art, the next-generation cultural content, for Sangmu incinerators.
