초록
This study discusses effective strategies for analyzing the Korean language using AntConc, which is currently the most widely utilized tool, and #LancsBox, which is rapidly gaining attention. The investigation initially focuses on various indexing methods suitable for Korean, examining their distinct characteristics. It then evaluates the capabilities of these tools in processing Korean, discussing their limitations. The difficulties identified are largely due to the agglutinative nature of Korean. To address these challenges, the paper suggests appropriate indexing methods for different types of analysis and introduces the usage of KTCA, a tool developed to enhance the functionality of AntConc. This approach is significant as it maximizes the utility of existing tools in scenarios where the development of dedicated Korean analysis tools is difficult.
