본 연구는 후지크롬 벨비아 필름과 후지필름 디지털 카메라의 벨비아 필름 시뮬레이션 간 색상 특성을 정량적으로 비교 분석하였다. Imatest 소프트웨어를 사용하여 색상 정확도, 채도, 톤 재현 특성을 분석한 결과, 디지털 시뮬레이션은 필름의 고채도 및 콘트라스트를 재현하며 더 높은 색상 정확도를 보였다. 다이나믹 레인지에서는 미묘한 차이가 관찰되었다. 본 연구는 디지털 필름 시뮬레이션 기술의 높은 재현수준을 실증적으로 보여주며, 사진가들에게 객관적인 매체 선택 데이터를 제공한다.
Abstract
This study quantitatively compares the color characteristics between FUJICHROME Velvia film and Fujifilm's Velvia film simulation. Analyzing color accuracy, saturation, and tonal response with Imatest software, the digital simulation reproduced the film's high saturation and contrast while showing higher color accuracy. Subtle differences were observed in dynamic range. This study empirically demonstrates the high fidelity of digital film simulation technology, providing objective data for photographers to choose appropriate media.
