포스트모더니즘의 확산과 디지털 시대의 도래는 아카이브즈에 내재되어 있던 기존의 견고한 경계를 허무는 계기가 되었고, 4차 산업혁명 시대가 시작되면서 또 다시 아카이브즈에 새로운 가치와 패러다임 변화를 요구하고 있다. 특히 롱테일에 속해 있던 일반 시민들이 다양한 정책에 참여할 수 있는 온라인 네트워크 사회가 발달하였고, 정보의 개방과 공유를 요구하기 시작했다. 따라서 최근 이슈가 되고 있는 4차 산업혁명의 기술을 기록학적 측면에서 바라보고 그것을 참여 민주주의와 연결하여 설명하고자 한다. 이를 통해 아카이브가 민주주의 관점에서 어떤 역할을 할 수 있고, 4차 산업혁명 시대에 아키비스트는 어떤 역할을 해야 하는지 이론적으로 알아보고자 한다. 본 연구는 기록학/기록관리 측면에서 있어서 다음과 같은 몇 가지 주목할 사항을 제공한다. 첫째는 4차 산업혁명 시대라는 시대적 사명을 비추어 아카이브즈에 접근할 것이다. 기존 기록학 이론과 플랫폼 사례를 비추어 4차 산업혁명 시대의 아카이브즈의 역할과 기대할 수 있는 결과에 대해 알아보았다. 둘째는 아카이브즈의 기록에 대해 단순한 물리적 실체가 아닌 기념적 구성물로서 접근하여 새로운 이해와 해석을 소개하였다. 마지막으로 아카이브자가 정부와 시민의 교집합 지점이라는 점을 비추어 소통의 공간으로써의 정부와 시민의 합의점을 제시할 수 있는 도구이자 공간을 나타냄을 의미한다.
Abstract
The proliferation of postmodernism and the advent of the digital age have destroyed the existing solid boundaries inherent in the archives, and as the era of the fourth industrial revolution begins, the archives are demanding new values and paradigm shifts. In particular, an online network society has been developed where ordinary citizens who belong to long tails can participate in various policies and started to demand the opening and sharing of information. Therefore, I would like to look at the technology of the fourth industrail revolution, which is a recent issu, from the archive aspect, and explain it in connection with participatory democracy. Through this, we can theoretically understand what role archives can play in terms of democracy and what role the archivists should play in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. This study provides several noteworthy points in archive / records management. The first is the approach to the archives in light of the era of the era of the fourth industral revolution. The role of archives in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and their expected results were examined in light of the existing archive theory and platform examples. Second, the Archives' record was introduced as a conceptual construct rather than a mere physical entity, introducing new understanding and interpretation. Finally, this means that the archives represent a tool and space that can present the consensus of the government and the citizen as a space of communication in light of the poing of intersection of government and citizen.
