Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the distinct influences of praise types and feedback after good trial/poor trial on golf skill learning. The subjects were selected from the B elementary school in Busan metropolitan city. The test subjects were 5th grade elementary school students(Males, n=40). The task used in this research was ddogddagi swing of golf skill. The data analysis of acquisition phase and retention tests were carried out under 2(ability/effort praise group)×2(feedback after good/poor trial group)×6(block) or 2(block) factorial design with repeated measures on last factor. The following results were reached by analysing the test data. First, effort praise group is more effective than ability praise group in acquisition phase. Second, 2,3,4 block were more effective than 1 block and 5 block is best effective score at acquisition phase. The study proves that effort praise is important factor on ddogddagi swing of golf skill learning.
