초록

This study attempts to analyze the ‘verb+locative object’ structures in the modern Chinese. And we looked into the commonness and differences between Chinese ‘V+NPL’ structure, and Korean ‘Adjective(NPL+postpositional word)+V’ structure which is a comparison to Chinese ‘verb+locative object’ structure. The verb is the core that represents ‘Location’, ‘Source’, ‘Path’, ‘Goal’, ‘Direction’ in the locative object structure. With it's feature 'NPL’, the argument of verb is an important element that represents locative meaning. Whether the subject of ‘verb+locative object’ structure is agent or patient, is a key point that separates ‘Locative’ and ‘Goal’. Generally, agent subject has it's ‘Locative’ object, and patient subject has it's ‘Goal’ object; the former is free to change to “在+NPL+verb” structure and the latter is free to change to ‘verb+在+NPL’ structure. When there are both agent and patient in ‘Goal’ at the same time, Chinese use ‘NPS+把NP+V+NPL’ structure or double object structure(‘NPS+V+NPL+NPO’), but Korean only use ‘NPS+NPO+NPL+V’ structure. The Korean expression corresponding to Chinese ‘verb+locative object’ structure is generally ‘NPS+Adj(NPL+에서/으로)+V’ structure, but Korean often use ‘locative object verb’ structure(NPL+을/를+V) too.

Abstract

This study attempts to analyze ‘verb+locative object’ structures in the modern Chinese.
