Abstract

First of all I try to define the ideas of the nation which the South and the North side are conceptualizing in the discourse of the Reunification of Koreas, and reflect if both sides accept the common factors of which the identity of the nation is composed. And I discuss how we ground the perpetual justification of the reunification of the South and North, and what is the visions of the reunified state. Through this discussion on the justification of the reunification we can draw out some grounds from the humanism, the natural good, the peace and the outspread of the good values and ideas. We can deduce the visions of the reunified state, for examples, the principle of the world peace, the principle of the democratic republicity, the principle of the human rights and the principle of the pro-environment. It will be stressed that the justification of the reunification and the agreement of the South and the North on common visions of the unified state are more important than the strategical and practical approaches.
