본 연구는 감성교육 활동이 유아의 정서지능 향상에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구의 대상은 대전에 소재한 M 초등학교 병설유치원의 만 5세 유아 30명(남아: 16명, 여아: 13명)과 S 초등학교 병설유치원 만 5세 유아 30명(남아: 16명, 여아: 14명)이었다. 연구 결과 감성교육 활동을 경험한 실험집단과 감성교육 활동을 경험하지 않은 통제집단 간의 정서지능은 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 정서지능의 구성요소인 유아의 자기 정서인식 및 표현과 유아의 교사와의 관계는 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of the Emotional-Educational activities on Emotional Intelligence of the young children. Subjects for this study were 60 five-year-old children(experimental group 30 and control group 30) attending two public kindergarten in Dae-jeon. The experimental group consisted of 17 boys and 13 girls, and the control group consisted of 16 boys and 14 girls. The results of this study were as follow there were significant differences of the emotional intelligence between the experimental group treat with the Emotional-Educational activities and the control group, p<.05. The self awareness and expression of the young children’s emotion and teacher’s relationship of the young children that element of emotional intelligence showed significant difference between the experimental group treat with the Emotional-Educational activities and the control group, p<.05.
