본 연구의 목적은 Harvard Project Zero 연구팀에서 개발한 프로젝트 스펙트럼 평가 도구가 우리나라 유아들의 다중지능을 측정할 수 있는 도구로 유아 교육 현장에서 적용할 수 있는지에 대한 타당성을 모색하는데 있다. 본 연구의 결과, 프로젝트 스펙트럼 평가가 지능영역별 유아들의 강점과 약점을 변별할 수 있고, 7개 지능영역이 서로 중복되지 않는 다른 지능영역을 측정하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 또한 프로젝트 스펙트럼 평가의 동작, 언어, 수학, 미술, 음악지능영역은 공인 타당도가 높으며, 프로젝트 스펙트럼 평가는 유아지능검사와는 다른 영역을 평가하는 도구임을 알 수 있었다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to validate the Project Spectrum which was developed by Harvard Project Zero Researcher Staff can be applied to early childhood education in Korea as an assessment tool which measures Korean children’s multiple intelligence. The results of this study suggest that Project Spectrum can discriminate strength and weakness in the domains and seven domains can measure other domain without overlapping each other. Also, high concurrent validity was found in movement domain, language domain, mathematical visual art domain, music domain, and Project Spectrum is a tool which assesses domains different from those measured by Intelligence Scale for Children.
