본 연구는 프로젝트 스펙트럼에 기초한 유아 다중지능 증진 프로그램을 개발하고, 그 교육적 효과를 평가하고자 하였다. 다중지능 프로파일의 개별적 독특성 인정, 다중지능 영역과 관련된 성취감 등의 요소를 고려한 후, 다중지능을 교육목표와 내용으로 하여 총 6개 교육주제의 30개 활동을 개발하여 만 5세 유아에게 적용하였다. 프로그램의 적용에 따른 통계분석 결과, 다중지능 증진 프로그램은 유아의 자아존중감과 다중지능 증진에 효과가 있었다. 따라서 본 프로그램은 유아의 다중지능을 증진시켜 주기 위한 새로운 접근으로써 적극적인 활용이 기대된다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to do develop a children's multiple intelligence program based on project spectrum. The subjects were 78 five-year-old young children from three classes in the H kindergarten located in G city. Two classes were assigned to experimental group I and experimental group II respectively and the remaining class was designated as the control group. A modified KC-MIDAS and PSPC were used for collection. n of the data and Covariance Analysis (ANCOVA) was used to analyze the data. The research result can be summarized as follows. First, in order to develop a children's multiple intelligence program based on Project Spectrum, an integrated children's multiple intelligence program structure model was proposed based on the seven intelligence areas and emphasizing exploring, identifying, nurturing, bridging and reflecting stages. Using this structure model as a basis, content of the program consisting of thirty activities for ten weeks was organized. Second, using the children's multiple intelligence program based on Project Spectrum demonstrated that it affected the children's multiple intelligence development and self-esteem in a positive way. In the development of multiple intelligence and the improvement of self-esteem, it was shown that experimental group I which participated in the intelligence program was the most affected, while experimental group II, which participated in the activities of Project Spectrum Intelligence Center, and the control group were the least affected.
