The purpose of the study was to examine the effects of role playing based on children's story books of anti-bias on children's prejudice reduction. To obtain the purpose, a total of 120 four-and five-years old children form two preschools were participated in this study. They were randomly assigned to an experimental or an control group. The children in the experimental group took part in role play after reading(or listening) anti-bias sto교 books 10 times, and the control group did not. As a result, it was found that children in the experimental group showed significantly lower scores on appearance, handicaps, socio-economic status, family composition, and human race than those in the control group. This finding implies that role playing can works effectively to reduce childrens prejudice.
