일본 조선학교 교가의 음악적 분석과 그 특징 연구

본 논문은 일본 조선학교 교가를 대상으로 음악적 요소 등을 분석하여 그 속에담겨있는 다양한 음악적 특징을 알아보았다. 일본 조선학교 교가의 음악적 분석은음악의 3대 요소를 기준으로 리듬(Rhythm), 선율(Melody), 화성(Harmony) 등으로 나누어 분석하였다. 리듬은 박자⋅리듬 꼴⋅갖춘마디와 못갖춘마디(센내기⋅ 여린내기)의 여부⋅시작 리듬 등 4가지로, 선율은 음계⋅음역⋅전주사용 여부등 3가지로, 화성은 조성⋅성부 조직⋅종지 등 3가지로 나누어 분석하였다. 일본조선학교 교가의 음악적 특징은 첫째, 교가에 전반적으로 부점리듬이나 당김음등을 사용하여 강조하고자 하는 가사를 명확하게 표현하였다. 둘째, 악보의 오류를쉽게 찾아볼 수 있었다. 자주 나타난 악보 오류는 음표의 종류를 박자에 맞지않게 사용한 경우와 가사에 ‘-’ 표시를 하지 않은 경우가 있었다. 셋째, 숨표나쉼표를 사용하지 않았다. 넷째, 일본 조선학교 교가들은 장조를 사용하였다. 다섯째, 빠르기말 대신 부사적인 용어를 사용하여 교가의 전체적인 느낌을 나타내었다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analyze the musical elements and others of the Chosun Schools’ school songs and examine the diverse musical characteristics thereof. For this purpose, the school songs were analyzed focusing on the three major elements of music: rhythm, melody and harmony. Again, the rhythm was divided into beat, rhythm, complete or incomplete bar and beginning rhythm. On the other hand, the melody was divided into three types: scale, register, prelude or not. Lastly, the harmony was divided into three types: tonality, vocal part and fine. The musical characteristics of the school songs of Chosun Schools in Japan can be summed up as follows. First, in general, they use the dotted rhythms or syncopation to clearly express the lyrics. Secondly, errors are easily found in the scores. The frequent errors are the case where the notes are not appropriately used to match the beats, and the case where the mark ‘-’ is not indicated for the lyric. Thirdly, breathing or rest marks are not used. Fourthly, the major is used in all school songs. Fifthly, adverbs are used instead of the tempo marks to express the overall feeling of the songs. This study is deemed significant in that it attempted to analyze the musical characteristics of the overseas Korean ethnic schools’ school songs for the first time.
