Analysis of Research Methodology Trends in Korean Language Education Studies on Writing Strategies : A Scoping Review

본 연구는 한국어 쓰기 전략 연구에서 연구 설계와 연구 방법론이 결과에 미치는 영향을 인식하고, 주제 범위 문헌 고찰의 방법론적 기준을 적용하여 연구의 현황과 공백을 체계적으로 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 Peters 외(2015)의 방법론을 기반으로 연구 질문을 설정하고, Aromataris와 Munn(2020)의 3단계 검색 전략을 적용하여 데이터 검색과 선정 과정을 설계하였다. 총 5,160건의 초기 검색 결과를 대상으로 전문가 자문과 1, 2차 적절성 검토를 수행하여 최종적으로 37건의 문헌을 선정하였으며, Tricco 외(2018)의 PRISMA-ScR 보고 지침에 따라 연구 결과를 체계적으로 도출하였다. 쓰기 전략 연구의 방법론 사용 결과에서 질적 연구가 가장 많이 활용되었으며, 담화 분석이 높은 비중을 차지했다. 쓰기 전략 연구의 신뢰성을 확보하기 위해서는 연구 방법론의 타당성에 대한 검토가 선행되어야 하며, 본 연구는 향후 한국어 쓰기 전략 연구의 설계 방향 정립과 연구 공백을 보완하는 기초 자료로서 의의가 있다.
Abstract
This study investigates the research methodology trends in Korean language education studies on writing strategies through a scoping review. A total of 37 studies published between 2017 and 2024 were selected and analyzed based on the PRISMA-ScR guidelines. The research questions were constructed following the framework of Peters et al. (2015), and data collection and selection procedures were conducted in accordance with the three-step strategy proposed by Aromataris and Munn (2020). As a result, qualitative research was most frequently employed, particularly discourse analysis, which focused on interpreting learner texts and writing processes. These findings indicate a methodological concentration and highlight the need for a more balanced and diverse range of research designs in the field. This study contributes to enhancing methodological validity in future studies and serves as a foundational reference for addressing research gaps in writing strategy research within Korean language education.
