Abstract

This study examines the status of ‘Niou’song in the Heian period, especially in the three generations of Imperial collection. However, previous studies have been preliminarily meaning that the visual expression has changed to the olfactory expression, and the precedent research has been concentrated on revealing the originality of the original Manyo era.
