韓国の多文化教育の実態分析及び授業の実例 -仁川広域市の日本語二重言語教育と国際文化理解教育を中心として-

Abstract

This manuscript premises a critical mind on if the school curriculum in Korea is appropriate for multilingual and multicultural education, according to the social change as a multicultural society influenced by globalization. Therefore, I research on Japanese bilingual education in Incheon City, which is designated as educational enterprise zone for globalized education in order to suggest bilingual education in a new form and prospects for future multicultural education focused on bilingual education and intercultural education. As a result, there are 11 Japanese bilingual instructors dispatched to elementary or middle schools in Incheon and they teach bilingual class <Japanese Language> and <Intercultural Education>. <Japanese Language> classes are conducted in two forms, after-school activity or development activity. As major improvements of bilingual education, there are three ways, the process of trial of various teaching methods, many programs to increase exchange between multicultural families and monocultural families. As major improvements of intercultural education along with bilingual education, training of teachers, evaluation on intercultural education, and education and daily life outside of school should be considered.
