ICTツールを活用した対面授業の考察

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find new learning methods through the use of ICT tools during the COVID-19 pandemic regardless of the type of class, and to examine more effective face-to-face teaching styles. For learners who have experienced remote classes due to the COVID-19 epidemic, we used the two-way "Quizizz", "Flippity", "Wordwall", "Jamboard"",Google Slides", "Google Spreadsheet", "Google Document", and the one-way “Letters” "Kana Bimoji Japanese Master" "Padlet" "Canva" ICT tools after each class. As a result of analyzing a free technology survey taken by 133 learners (101 effective respondents) after taking classes using ICT tools, 94% of learners reported that they felt positive about face-to-face classes using ICT tools. The positive factors mentioned were "self-learning," "understanding," and "psychological effects," while the negative factors were "difficulty in communication," "manipulation of ICT tools," and "psychological effects." In addition, 89% of learners who experienced face-to-face and remote classes had positive opinions on face-to-face classes. 'Psychological effects', 'learning evaluation', and other factors were extracted, indicating that teaching methods including the use of ICT tools in face-to-face classes had a strong impact on 'psychological effects' and 'learning evaluation'. In addition, the negative factors in face-to-face classes were 'travel time' and 'physical fatigue'. As for opinions on remote classes, only positive factors such as "class method", "travel time" and "psychological effects" were extracted. Therefore, in this study, it was found that the teaching method using ICT tools has a strong influence on self-learning, psychological effects, and improvement of understanding regardless of the class being held face-to-face or remotely. Therefore, the use of ICT is inevitable in future Japanese language education, and measures are needed to further exchange information between teachers or improve ICT application skills.
