감정형용사「楽しい」의 사용양상 연구- 감정대상을 중심으로 -

Abstract

This study analyzed the types of emotional objects based on the examples that an emotional adjective, 「tanosii」, is used in conjunction with a noun and drew following results. First of all, examining nouns in the patterns of 「tanosii+ noun」, this researcher could classify four types: abstract relationship, human activity-spirit and behavior, the subject of human activity, and products and tools. Concerning the frequency of use, human activity-spirit and behavior is used most frequently, and the next are abstract relationship, the subject of human activity, and products and tools in order. In abstract relationship, time is found overwhelmingly frequently, and in human activity-mind and behavior, mind and life are used often at similar frequency. In the subject of human activity, society and family indicated similar frequencies, and humans are used next most frequently. Lastly, products and tools showed relatively lower frequency. This study is significant in that it has investigated the causes of emotions and subjects of emotions in Japanese expressions of feelings and also the characteristics of them, too.
