動詞「とる」の二重性に関する一考察 - 連語の構造的なタイプをてがかりにして -

본 연구는 일본어의 기본동사 「とる」에 대해 연어의 구조적인 타입, 특히 구체명사와 같이 쓰일 때의 <부착>과 <제거>라는 이중성에 주목하여 실례를 통해 동사 「とる」의 어휘적 의미 및 카테고리컬한 의미에 대해 분석한 것이다. 본 연구에서는 실제 용례를 통해 어떤 명사· 조사와 같이 쓰이는가에 주목하여 연어의 구조적인 타입을 분석함으로써 「とる」의 의미를 밝히는 것을 시도하고, 연어 구조 속에서 <부착>과 <제거>에 대해 고찰하였다. 또한, 각각 유의어와의 비교를 통해 「とる」의 의미를 보다 명확히 하는 것에 초점을 두었다. 그 결과, 연어의 구조에 의해, [《구체물》ノ《구체물》ヲVt] 는 「불필요물의 영속적·일시적인 제거」를 의미하며, [《구체물》カラ《구체물》ヲVt] 나 [《구체물》ヲVt]는「대상물을 이동 전 위치로부터 제어 가능한 영역으로 취하는 것」을 의미하는 것이 확인되었고, [《구체물》ヲ 《구체물》ニ Vt ]는, [《구체물》ヲ 《손》ニ Vt]의 형태를 제외하고는 매우 적고, 현시점에서 그 대부분이 ‘내용물’의 일부를 다른 ‘용기’로 옮기는 의미로서 기술되는 것을 알게 되었다. 또, [《구체물》ヲ 《손》ニ Vt] 는 용례수로서는 많지만 대부분이 [《구체물》ヲ Vt] 와 같은 뜻을 의미하여 다음 동작으로 계기하는 것을 나타내거나 소설에서는 '강조'의 의미를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 종합적으로 봤을 때 「とる」의 어휘적인 의미는 <부착>을 의미하는 구조인 [《구체물》ヲ 《구체물》ニ Vt]로 나타나는 경우가 많지 않은 점에서 어휘적으로 <제거> 의 의미를 갖는다는 결론에 이르렀다.
Abstract
This study analyzes the lexical and categorical meanings of the Japanese verb "toru" through examples, focusing on the structural type of the copula, especially the duality of <attachment> and <removal> when co-occurring with a concrete noun. We also attempt to clarify the meaning of " toru " by comparing it with the synonyms "motsu" and "hazusu". We found that " toru " always implies a movement of the object from the source to the destination, and that the part focusing on being contained in the hand of the medium as a result of this movement overlaps with the meaning of "motsu". In addition, the structure of the couplet indicates that [N1《concrete object》NO N2《concrete object》O Vt] means "permanent or temporary removal of unwanted objects," [N1《concrete object》KARA N2《concrete object》O Vt] and [N《concrete object》O Vt] mean "taking an object out of the moving source into the controllable domain," and [N1《concrete object》O N2《concrete object》NI Vt] is very rare except for the form [N1《concrete object》O N2《hand》 NI Vt], and most of them are currently described as the meaning of transferring a part of "liquid/food" to another "container". In addition, [N1《concrete object》O N2《hand》NI Vt] has a large number of examples, but most of them are synonymous with "N《concrete object》O Vt," indicating a continuation of the next action, or having the meaning of "emphasis" in a novel. Looking at the results of these studies as a whole, it was concluded that the lexical meaning of " toru " is not often expressed by the structure [N1《concrete object》O N2《concrete object》NI Vt], which expresses " attachment ", and that it has a lexical meaning of "removal " .
