본 연구는 장애아동을 양육하는 어머니를 위한 여가교육프로그램을 개발하고 그 효과를 알아보기 위하여 실시하였다. 연구대상은 발달장애로 진단을 받고 발달센터에서 치료를 받고 있는 5-8세 아동의 어머니로 자발적으로 연구 참여에 동의 한 27명이었다. 여가교육프로그램은 무작위로 선정된 실험군 13명에게 실시하였고, 대조군 14명에게는 다과모임을 실시하였으며, 주1회 총 6주간 시행하였다. 그 결과 실험군(148.00±12.32)의 여가태도 평균이 대조군의 평균(147.92±17.08)보다 높았으나 집단 간 차이는 통계적으로 유의미 하지는 않았다. 세부항목에서 실험군은 인지적태도와 정서적 태도에서 통계적으로 유의한 변화(p>.05)를 보인 반면 대조군은 유의한 변화를 보이지 않았다(p<.05). 본 연구 결과 여가교육프로그램이 장애아동 어머니의 여가태도에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 연구결과를 토대로 수정 보완한 프로그램은 장애아동 어머니를 위한 지원프로그램으로 사용될 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
The purpose of this research was to investigate the effects of a leisure education program on the leisure attitude test in mothers of children with disabilities. Twenty -seven mothers of children with disabilities were randomly assigned to participate either in the treatment (13 mothers) or the control (14 mothers) group. Treatment group participated a leisure education program and control group participated meeting refreshments once per a week for 6 weeks. Pre- and post-program was measured through the leisure attitude. As a result of the study, treatment group demonstrated significant improvements in their cognitive and affective component of leisure attitude (p>.05). This preliminary study suggests that a leisure education program in mothers of children with disabilities can have a positive impact on their leisure attitude.
