Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of leader's emotional intelligence on team's conflict, cohesiveness, creativity. For the study, The data are gathered from the employees of the 100 Korean major firms in the manufacturing and other industries. However, the survey questionnaire method was used and 172 people of 43teams. All respondents are the team managers and team members of the responding organizations. This study conducted a confirmatory factor analysis for the validity test and Cronbach's alpha test of the reliability test. Moreover, structural equation modeling(SEM) was employed to test the hypothesized relationship in the model. The result of the analysis presented that the higher the level of leader's emotional intelligence is, the more influence on the team's affective conflict and cohesiveness. Team's cohesiveness has mediated effects on the relationship between leader's emotional intelligence and team's creativity The findings suggest that leader's emotional intelligence are important variables effects on team effectiveness. However, considering several limit of the study, further study on this matter is required.
