감성지능과 리더십의 관계에 관한 연구동향

초록

최근 감성지능은 조직의 리더십 분야에서도 중요한 개념으로 연구되고 있다. 즉, 상사의 감성지능은 리더십 효과성에 영향을 주는 핵심적인 변수로 간주되고 있다. 또한 한 걸음 더 나아가 상사의 감성지능에 영향을 미치는 리더십 행동에도 관심을 갖기 시작하였다. 변혁적 리더십 행동은 상사의 감성지능에 의해 영향을 받는 대표적인 행동으로 연구되고 있다. 본 연구는 감성지능과 리더십간의 관계에 관한 선행연구를 검토하고 미래연구를 위한 시사점을 제시하였다. 첫째 감성지능에 대한 개념을 검토하고 둘째, 조직의 리더십 관점에서 감성지능의 효과성 또는 중요성에 대한 연구를 검토하였다. 마지막으로 상사의 감성지능과 거래적, 변혁적 리더십 행동에 대한 연구에 초점을 맞추어 미래 연구를 위한 시사점을 제시하고 이를 바탕으로 하나의 가설적 연구모형을 예시하였다.

Abstract

Recently, emotional intelligence is becoming hot issue in organization leadership field. It means leader's emotional intelligence regards as a key variable to leadership effectiveness. Also began to show interest in leadership behavior which reflect to leader's emotional intelligence. Transformational leadership behavior is a representative behavior which is influenced by leader's emotional intelligence. This study investigated preceding researches and also try to provide implications for future research. Firstly, investigated the conception of emotional intelligence, secondly, in organization leadership point of view, examined emotional effectiveness and importance. Finally, bring to a focus on transactional/transformational leadership, indicated hypothesis model for implications of future research.
