This study aims to analyse Korean learners‘(Chinese/English/Japanese) common errors(replacement), in using the particles ‘i/ga’ and ‘eun/neun’, based on the corpus made by Yonsei’s Korean learners' corpus(2002). We dealt with the following two things in this article. First, we analysed the reciprocal replacement error between ‘i/ga’ and ‘eun/neun’ shown by these Korean language according to the uses of these particles. Second, we investigated statistically how the reciprocal replacement error between these two particles was influenced by the mother language of these Korean learners and their Korean language levels. The analysis results are summarized as follows. [1] The particle ‘i/ga’ is wrongly replaced by ‘eun/neun’ in the various constructions : the neutral description constructions, the so-called double subject constructions, focus constructions and embedded clauses. Among these five constructions, the embedded clauses have the highest error frequency. [2] The replacement error that these Korean learners made in using ‘i/ga’ instead of ‘eun/neun’ is, to a great extent, divided into three uses of the particle ‘eun/neun’ such as the use of topic, the use of contrast and the use of emphasis. Among these uses of ‘eun/neun’, the use of topic has the highest error frequency.
