아도르노와 아감벤은 절멸의 생명정치 공간인 아우슈비츠를 사유의 중심에 두고 자신의 철학을 전개했다. 이들의 철학은 ‘아우슈비츠와 아우슈비츠 이후의 아우슈비츠를 어떻게 규명하고 극복할 것인가’라는 문제로 수렴된다. 아도르노와 아감벤은 ‘누구나 호모 사케르가 될 수 있다’, ‘아우슈비츠는 끝나지 않았다’라는 테제를 공유한다. 양자는 아우슈비츠 극복의 규범원리로 ‘구제’와 ‘도래’ 개념을 제시한다. 아우슈비츠의 극복은 새로운 생명정치적 질서안에서 진정한 삶의 가능성을 만들어 가는 데에 있다. ‘삶-의-형태’와 ‘올바른 삶의 가능성’의 실현을 위해서 아감벤과 아도르노는 정치사회적 구조의 근본적 변화와 비판적 사유와 새로운 주체의 탄생을 요구한다. 아우슈비츠 극복과 관련해 양자의 차이가 가장 드러나는 부분은 교육에 있다. 아감벤과 달리 아도르노는 극복전략으로 탈야만화와 성숙을 위한 교육을 강조한다. 아도르노와 아감벤의 아우슈비츠 사유모델은 폭력과 야만이 생산되고 재생산되는 오늘날의 생명정치적 공간을 이해하고 대항하는 데 하나의 길과 가능성을 제공한다.
Abstract
Adorno and Agamben developed their philosophy with Auschwitz, the biopolitical space of extinction, at the center of their thinking. Their philosophy converges into the question of ‘how to explain identify and overcome Auschwitz after Auschwitz and Auschwitz.’ Adorno and Agamben share the thesis of ‘Anyone can become a Homo Sacer’ and ‘Auschwitz is not over’. Both present the concepts of 'Rettung' and 'Comming(Community)' as the normative principle of overcoming Auschwitz. The overcoming of Auschwitz lies in creating the real possibility of life in a new biopolitical order. For the realization of ‘life-of-form’ and ‘the possibility of a right life’, Agamben and Adorno demand a fundamental change in the political and social structure, critical thinking, and the birth of a new subject. When it comes to overcoming Auschwitz, the part where the difference between the two is most evident is in education. Unlike Agamben, Adorno emphasizes de-barbarization and education for maturity as a strategy to overcome. Adorno and Agamben's model of thinking at Auschwitz provides a way and possibility to understand and oppose today's biopolitical space where violence and barbarism are produced and reproduced.
