교사들의 특기·적성교육과정 참여 만족도 영향요인 분석

상업계 고등학교에서의 특기적성교육은 컴퓨터 관련 ICT교육을 중심으로 진행되는 경우가 많다. 정보격차를 해소하는 한편 관련 자격증 획득을 통해 개인의 능력을 개발하는 데 도움을 줄 수 있기 때문이다. 그러나 이를 담당하고 있는 현직 교사들은 정규수업시간외에 추가로 부담해야 하는 강의준비 및 교육으로 인해 상당히 힘든 환경에 처하기도 한다. 본 연구에서는 정보소양의 증진, 자격증 취득 및 사교육비 경감을 목적으로 시행되고 있는 컴퓨터 특기적성교육 프로그램을 담당하고 있는 교사들의 참여도 및 만족에 영향을 미치는 요인들에 대한 분석을 194부의 설문조사자료를 이용하여 시도해 보고자 하였다. 컴퓨터 특기적성교육의 활성화를 위해서는 교사들의 적극적 참여가 가장 필수적인 요인으로 판단하여, 교사들의 컴퓨터 특기적성교육 향후 참여의도와 만족도를 최종 종속변수로 설정하고 이에 영향을 미치는 주요변수로 컴퓨터 특기적성교육에서 교사들의 인식 태도, 유용성, 교사들의 개인적인 성장에의 기여도, 강의 준비 및 실제 강의의 용이성, 학교로부터의 지원 및 인센티브 등을 주요 요인으로 설정하여 분석하였다. 또한 회귀분석을 이용한 분석결과를 중심으로 컴퓨터 특기적성교육 프로그램의 활성화를 위한 교사의 역할도 간략히 살펴보았다.
Abstract
Commercial high schools usually offer computer-related ICT classes as a part of extracurricular programs. These programs may reduce the problem of information literacy and improve the competitiveness of students through acquiring the ICT-related licenses. On the other hand, teachers responsible for the program suffer, due to the extra time and efforts required to operate these programs. The purpose of this study is to identify the determinants of attitude and planned behavior toward these extracurricular programs. This study developed a research model to analyze the factors influencing the satisfaction level and intention to participate, employing attitude toward the program, perceived usefulness, contribution to the personal growth, ease of preparation, support and incentive as major research variables. 194 survey responses from commercial high school teachers were collected for analysis. Statistical results based upon the regression analysis, as well as some useful guidelines for promoting the programs, were provided.
